The view from the terrace was great and the position in town was excellent

Horrible old curtains that didn't work properly, pillows were old and very uncomfortable, bathroom was very dated, shower head was coming off wall, no bulb in light above mirror and the door didn't shut properly.

We had a great time in Taormina and Alessio was a great host. Very quick to reply to messages and let us keep our bags in the courtyard for a few hours after check out. The shower was always hot and had great water pressure. Very comfy bed.

The view from the balcony was amazing but due to the cable car right next door we had the curtains drawn pretty much all the time for privacy. Be warned that the bathroom and access to the shower is incredibly narrow, which could be an issue for anyone with mobility issues.

Couldnt fault it

You cannot fault the location of this property. Great communication with the host who welcomed us. The apartment itself is a little dated, but clean and functional for our stay. The balcony is shared across the property but this was not an issue, the view was amazing. It is right next to the cable car station which you could occasionally hear but was not a concern, it made for great people watching. Shops and restaurants were a couple of minutes walk away with the town centre not much further. Private off road parking was also available.

Nothing, would definitely stay again. Watching the sunset/rise from the balcony was amazing.

Location - the best possible. You might really understand it after 2-3 days stay and walking around. . View fantastic. I would book it again as a first choice , if I would come back.

Amazing view, clean, fantastic central location

Lack of kitchen facilities- for instance no kettle, bit of noise from cable car

The host was very accommodating and provided parking at last minute (I forgot to reserve in advance), which was a lifesaver. The shared terrace was also very useful, and had sun loungers and a shower to cool off on which was great. The location was great, and very helpful having the funicular next door.

The apartment was dated and extremely small; particularly the bathroom. The shower was so small you struggled to turn around or wash. The toilet was also very cramped, and you had to be partly in the bathroom to be able to close the door. The vast majority of the room was taken up by the bed and there was not much room to maneuver around the room. Furthermore, there was only a small storage unit. Despite it being helpful, the noise from the funicular was quite loud, and you could see the queue for the exit from the bedroom window.

It was a great location, just a stroll from the main shops and right next to the cable car down to the beach. Air con throughout and cooking facilities too, plus a terrace allowing you to soak up the sun.

The bathroom is a little small, and there’s no washing line/airer for drying clothes.
