Good location. Good views.

Room and bathroom very small.

The location of Villa Athèna is perfect! Close to the city and the cable car down to the beach. The outdoor terrace is very spacious and has a lovely view overlooking the sea. The owner was very welcoming when we arrived a bit earlier than expected.

The location was fantastic - super close to the centre of town, the cable car & the bus terminal. Super easy to get into the accomodation and any little question was answered very promptly. Staff were very accomodating! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Apartment needs a big renovation. Everything is falling down, the air con doesn’t work properly. The bathroom smells of mould and sewer.

Perfect location. 5 min walk from the bus station. The funicular to Mazzarò is literally the next door, easy to reach beaches like Isola Bella. Short walk uphill to the historical city center, not far from sights such as Teatro Antico and Villa Comunale. We stayed at the junior suite, meaning that we had our own kitchen and access to the common balcony area. Breathtaking view. Kitchen was equipped, with cutlery/plates/glasses, some saucepans, a small stove and a small fridge. There’s a safe in the room and the air conditioner works.

In a way the room itself is nothing special, felt more like renting an AirBnb than a room in a hotel. The decor is very basic and it feels like the place could use some renovating, for example the bathroom was impossible to air and it smelled of mold/sewage. We discovered some other quirks too - for example the only way to turn off the lights by the bedside is to unscrew the bulbs. However, could not be a better location for an apartment in this city and for the price I think it's reasonable.

Everything was fine but for most of the people the rooms can be very small.

Great location in central Taormina, handy for the bus station and a short distance from the main sights. There was a nice terrace with wonderful views.

Small dismal basement room, no wardrobe to speak of and virtually no storage space at all. One small window with a broken blind. Tiny cramped shower room, a fat person would have struggled to get in. The building is next to the cable car so it can get noisy.

Terrance and views are amazing! Alessio was friendly and tried to solve any issues. Room was clean.

Air conditioning was very old and didn't work for the first two nights. WiFi was weak.

The room was very close to the center and cable cars, so it was amazing to get around. The terrace was the highlight of our stay, it had a great view. We had a parking spot which was amazing and right in the center.

We stayed on -1 so the room only had 1 small window which had a direct view to the cable cars exit (so we had to keep our blinds closed whenever in the room), which made the room very dark. The room is very small and the bathroom even smaller, it was okay for 3 nights but a bit cramped. The bathroom had a bad smell whenever we arrived at the room, due to the windows being closed. The bed wasn't the best, but okay for 3 nights.
