Close to all the shops and restaurants - could walk everywhere. Host used WhatsApp and it was easy to correspond. There was problem with hot water the evening, which was resolved, and I found a present and card (nice bottle of jam) to apologize for any convenience the next morning outside our door. This was a lovely gesture. This was our 3rd time to stay at the guesthouse and will visit again.

Nice and quiet location. The suite was very well organised with all you might expect. I was warmly welcomed via WA by the owner. Just 2 minutes from restaurants and shops..

Location was central to the main square but away from the noise. The view and balcony was lovely.

Perfectly located, close to center of town and restaurants.

No TV although on the guest welcome sheet in the room it states than there is a TV, Layout not ideal, no basin by shower.

This is the third time we’ve stayed there and that says it all. Well priced, comfortable and conveniently located.

Very comfortable bed and great location.

The room required a larger bin. We had to find our our plastic bags to store waste overnight. Bath water drains slowly even when the plug is in, there seems to be a sealant issue. The ceiling fan does not work.

Location and cleanliness is everything to us and 278 on Main gets 10/10 for both. We could not have asked for a better position. The room was clean and had everything we needed. 278 on Main will be our first choice when we visit Clarens again.
