Guest Cafe Kuchikumano

We chose this guesthouse because of its location and the traditional tatami rooms. We stayed for one night and were lucky to have the place to ourselves, as it was just my husband and me. If there had been other guests, it probably would have been a bit noisier. The host was very helpful and kindly allowed us to leave our rental car in the parking area for several days.

Amazing experience with the best host, Danji (I'm not sure if is the right way to spell it 😅) Beautiful Japanese room, like we've always dreamed. You also have a kitchen with everything you need. Very quiet, perfect sleep

Super clean, well maintained house. Classical Japanese Tatami rooms (quite large). Our two rooms had a balcony as well. The host does not speak English but has great translation app, so communication was no problem. We missed the bus (because the schedule changed) so the host drove us to the trail head in his private car.

Old house has a bit squeaky floors but everyone was really mindful, so it was no problem at night.

Rinchi the owner was very kind and welcoming! He made sure I had all the info I need to start the kumano kodo in the morning and he was great with translation to make sure all my questions were answered.

Nothing! I would come back!

Had my own room with heater. Enjoyed the experience of staying in an older Japanese home. The host was very informative and kind. Close to bus stop for Kumano Kodo and a coop.

Kitchen facilities were older since older house. No insulation so upon walking out of room was very cold.

バイクで行き、雨よけや盗難防止の為に ガレージハウスに入れてくれました。 オーナーは親切な方でリーズナブルでした。 また利用したいです。
