Vine Ridge Resort - Cottages

Clean and well equipped and helpful

This was my second time and the stay was very excellent and pleasant.

Efficient with all amenities

It would be very warm in hotter weather as the air conditioning temp was locked Thankfully it cooled off in the evenings and I was able to open the windows and doors to cool it down

couldn't get vcr to work... could use better quality of pillows... was told to bring blankets and there were blankets in the space...?

Ideal location and a very nice site, well kept grounds and good facilities. Unfortunately let down by the poor state of the cottage we stayed in. The hot water system was not checked and not working to start with and the cottage was not properly cleaned, thick dust on the central fan. Also would have been useful to have a pack of items such as dish cloth, washing up liquid etc. There was also a really unpleasant, damp odour which did not diminish during our stay, even when doors and windows were opened. We had arranged to hire bedding which was fine but unfortunately no towels were available in the cottage or for hire. We found this very inconvenient as overseas visitors.

The place was cool in the morning. The furnace did seem to come on - we didn't complain as it wasn't too big a deal.
