OYO Gran Canaria Hotel

The owner was always on hand, very attentive and helpful.

Hotel is not fit to house a dog. Blood and semen on the bed, bed made out of wood, exposed electrics, shower door that doesn’t close. Half the building had pigeons flying around inside which we seen as we pulled up. All was reported to reception and asked for a refund, which was refused. We left and booked another hotel! After 2 hours of phone calls to hotels.com they agreed to refund for our booking.

Great area right next to the harbour The chap running it was very helpful.

Quite unclean… very dated. No TV working. Lights not working. Old windows and doors. It’s not really worthy of a 3 star. Smell of drugs outside!

The rooms you could hear the guest clearly next door man and women fighting as they were drunk and banging doors all night none of us slept and we had 5hrs to drive the next morning leaving at 5am with two disabled children

Room was clean but paintwork and flooring need looking at. Strange selection of guests smell of cannabis coming through our first floor room and noisy guests up drinking all night next door. Fire alarm went off at 1am on the Tuesday then again at 3am on the Wednesday only to be told twice it was a false alarm. Not even an apology

L'alarme nocture de 3h à 5h du matin. Le sommier du lit qui est seulement une planche de bois. La vieillesse des matelas. Les fenêtres qui sifflaient avec le car les verrous sont vieillissants.

Perfect location and really friendly owner. Basic facilities but good value for money. 5 minutes walk for the harbour arm and lessthan that from the beach. Only noise at night was the seaguls.

The car park did feel a bit unsecure however I could see my car from the room.

We had a warm welcome the staff was very kind and answered all our questions. Nice view from the room.

You do hear everything especially if guests just let the door bang.
