Sylvis Hostel Chiangmai

The location is great and at nights there is always a lot of people so very easy to socialize. Double bed options are nice also.

Showers had a bad smell in them. Also, there is very little chill places, only chairs and one bean bag in an upstairs corner somewhere. Not a big problem but it makes it not a place to hang out and relax during the day.

Beds were a little bit uncomfortable, too hard.

The bathrooms were huge and there was a fan to help it cool down which was great! The beds were okay but spacious but Bo at reception was amazing when you were looking to book activities! Very social hostel too

Very noisy especially on friday/saturday nights. Music was meant to stop at 11/11:30 but kept going until 12:30/1, so i wouldn’t recommend if you are looking for a quiet hostel

Awesome little social hostel in Chiang Mai, we got the private room and it was basic but good.

Great location, free coffee and tea. Provided soap and conditioner. Two lovely cats. If youre into partying then this is the place

It is a very loud party hostel, and not very clean. We thought from the pictures that it would be quieter, but there was loud noises until 01 every night. The rooms are not soundproof at all. Our room also was a storage for linen and such, and a staff member was inside looking for linen and kept the door open whilst there was a party outside very late in the evening. Bathrooms were very unclean, as well as common areas. Cigarette stubs and other leftovers from parties 24/7. Also reception is not open 24/7, idk why they say that..
