Curly Redwood Lodge

Older motel that was clean. No air conditioner but was on the second floor and opened the window. If you are sensitive to road noise there is a fan in the room that creates a distraction. Our drapes didn’t fully close and was glad I had my sleeping mask as the parking lot lights was bright. Reported it to staff when we checked out. The price was reasonable and was good for a one night stay. Breakfast was good at the restaurant across the street.

This is a very clean and well maintained property.

My wife and I stayed at the Curly Redwood Lodge on our honeymoon many years ago. We came back to relive the memory. It was so great to see that the rooms have been kept authentic with the redwood doors and interior paneling, while the rest of it has been nicely remodeled. The room was spacious and very clean, and the bed was comfortable. Staying at the historic Curly Redwood Lodge is like taking a step back in time. I highly recommend it!

This was a quaint hotel with charming 50s-era vibes. The bathroom didn't match the room's dated look, but all was functional and well maintained.

Area restaurants were very good

Located close to Jedediah where we hiked and close to restaurants. Easy parking and access.

This is an older hotel however it looks just like the pictures posted very very retro. Although it was older, it was very clean and was able to walk to the harbor and eating establishments. It was a fine place to stay in this town, even though it was a little quirky, I would stay there again when visiting redwoods or local area for Hiking.

Has covered party, retro decoration

I stay in C.City often for work, and this motel intrigued me on my way to and from other lodgings. I decided to give it a whirl. Front desk staff was very pleasant, despite a busy check-in period. My room was on the second level, and I needed to get back onto the street and drive around the back of the building. Kind of some sketchy woods back there, but my car never got messed with. They really lean into the whole ‘1960s Motor Lodge’ theme, with faux-vintage appliances, etc, in the room. The ‘bathtub’ was tiny, like a dog washing tub-size, kind of hilarious. Nice Keurig in the bathroom. Seemed clean enough. Pretty near the highway, and car noise audible from within the room. I’m surprised with how many 10/10 reviews the place has; it’s fine enough for a night, but how can people possibly think this place is ‘best of the best’??

I cant walk very good and am handicaped. The room was more then I expexted at this town. Was , very retro back to the 50's / 60's.doesn't mean it was shabby, but had the look you would expect if your family was driving a Old Nomad station wagon :-) so was good and would book again .
