The Rising Sun

The Rising Sun is the best pub we've stayed in! Great room, huge shower and immaculate. Superb location and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

It was very nice If being picky no biscuit with the tea and coffee stuff And i found it difficult to use the bath as couldn't reach the taps but i am very short But really only being picky as it was nice

Really cool place on the water and the food was very good. I was out early in the morning, but was given a nice breakfast to take away. The rooms are definitely an after thought. My room was cold, and no heater. I found an ironing board myself by taking for it. Bed wasn’t great either.

Great location. Great food at the pub. Staff very accommodating.

Good location beside river. Our room was very spacious with a view over the riverbank. The breakfast included was excellent. Evening meals were extremely good quantity, quality and value for money.

Parking was on public land was not able to be prioritised in any way for overnight guests and difficult to find. . Access to our room was via outside steep metal steps. The windows and frames, &. blinds were covered in insects and needed a good clean.
