Athenia Boutique Hotel & Spa

We loved the friendliness of the staff, we enjoyed the wide selection available for breakfast, the room was large, quiet, the beds comfortable, the shower fantastic hot ( who needs it) water with great pressure, cleaned daily with free water every day in the room,which could be refilled from a cooler in the lobby, bikes for free to explore, free bus/car into the old town three times a day returning twice. The pool has comfortable cushioned lie lows, with a nice wee pool side bar. Restaurant open late great food though we only had breakfast and two lunches. We loved the laid back feel but also that it is a spotless well managed facility. Did I say the staff are top hosts and hostesses. A shout out to our favourites 1st Wendy, Billy, and Daisy you made our stay comfortable and happy We will definitely be back and hope to see you again soon Highly recommend

Nothing unless you count, The weather but hey it was a really comfortable spot to sit out a tropical storm reported to be a cyclone. The staff kept us informed

This is a lovely little boutique hotel near An Bang beach. Staff were excellent and the room was a generous size with attached bathroom and toilet. There is a nice under cover area adjacent to a nice pool and the area has a bar as well. The Wifi throughout the hotel was very good and cable TV added bonus. The restaurant was open for all meals and the breakfast was really good and the dinner we had there was reasonable price but a bit small of a serve.

We originally booked for 4 nights but after the first night spoke to staff about the lack of hot water. At best the water was almost hot not really hot. We had upgraded our booking to a suite that included a nice big bath but the water was not hot enough for the bath so we were disappointed. We ended up checking out after 2 days due to this issue and the staff were very understanding and fantastic about it. The other thing that was an issue was that the hotel is noisy. We constantly heard the people in the room above moving about and moving the chairs on the floor. If we left the bathroom door open every time the room above flushed the toilet we would hear it all and the doors and walls are not very sound proof so you will hear the lift chime and people in the corridor. This was in stark contrast to a lesser ranked hotel we stayed at in Da Nang where we did not hear anything from outside our room not even the constant traffic!

Staff at the hotel were lovely, kind and very helpful! The room was a good size, clean and nicely finished. However, the bathroom had no door and only a curtain. Would be ok if it was just the showroom, but I think everyone would like some privacy in the toilet regardless!

The hotel stated that they had a private beach, granted it's a short walk away, other hotels on the beach do have an area for guests to use the deckchairs. Athenia hotel didn't and we booked it under the assumption it did. Very misleading to advertise something that doesn't exist!

The hotel was lovely with a nice clean pool area. The rooms were generous in size with really nice comfy linen and of top quality. The breakfast spread was amazing with a good variety. They also had bikes you could hire which was a nice bonus to ride around in the evenings. A few good local restaurants in the area close by too. Would definitely recommend and return.

We enjoyed our stay and felt relaxed staying here. Nice pool area, good breakfast and close to beaches and Hoi An old town.

Need to cross a main road to get to the beach side. Wasn't too busy and wasn't a big problem but the only reason to knock off a few points.
