Vila Fuji Bon Voyage Mori

Extremely spacious, two floor house with small balcony. Good kitchen, two toilets, three bedrooms (one a tatami room with futons, two with Western beds), living room and dining area, shower and bathtub and laundry machine. View of Fujisan from the top floor. There was even an espresso maker with a few pods provided, some detergent provided, a telescope for viewing the mountain, and a vinyl record player with Bluetooth and with some LP albums to play. We really enjoyed staying here.

A bit too big for our needs, though nice of course. It would be a better deal with more people. View of Fujisan from the Mori building, the one we were in, includes a bunch of telephone wires and power lines so no good for photos really. I think the view from the other building, Sora, in front of Mori, may not have the wires as part of the view. Also the Mori building temporarily has no adjacent parking spot. This wasn't communicated up front. Instead we were told after booking that due to construction Mori did not have a parking spot and that an empty lot about 3 minutes walk away could be used for parking. Other cars were there too. It wasn't a major problem, it was just a bit annoying as we were specifically looking for places with adjacent parking. We used Sora's parking spot for unloading our bags but that was only possible because no car was parked there when we arrived the first night. You can't park anywhere else nearby, even for a moment, on pain of death. Well not literally of course but parking around the neighbourhood could net you a big fine and could seriously inconvenience locals and other visitors, because of the narrow roads and private property. There are strict warnings about it. What I didn't understand was why we couldn't park in the little grassy plot in front of Mori, which is where the parking spot normally would be. There was no construction activity the 3 days we were there that would have interfered with us parking in that spot or would have been blocked by our car. But the spot was roped off. Last point: the Booking.com survey asks how the staff were. There were no staff. This is one of those places you access with a key in a lockbox and secret instructions sent once you've booked. There's a phone number if you have problems. Our only contact with staff was the morning we checked out. We left right at 10 and the cleaners were arriving just then. They were friendly and polite, an older couple.

Beautiful house with a wonderful view of Fuji. Beds were large and very comfortable. House was really clean. I wish we had booked here for longer

Mount Fuji view! It’s located strategically between the train/bus station and the lake. Walking distance to both, and other essentials like the konbini, laundromat and eateries.

Nothing really.

This property was immaculate in every way, the host was excellent with communication, the house was close (walking or train) distance to all of the hot spots. The view was just beyond my wildest dreams. I wish we stayed longer.

Amazing property with a stunning view

The location is excellent! The apartment was very aesthetic, clean and fun to live in.
