Camere da Cecè

I loved my stay in Tropea. This B&B was lovely, in an old building. Note no lift which was fine for me but worth noting in case you need it. That said in old, historical buildings in the Centro storico no lifts are to be expected. Small but clean room, perfect for me. The breakfast was very nice and a great coffee! Staff were all friendly and very helpful and accommodating. Great to have access to the B&B umbrella for the beach :) CeCe, the owner, was very helpful to me and I thank him.

Wow. 5 star experience! Staff are so friendly and attentive. The room is gorgeous with a charming balcony and large bathroom. Evenings are filled with music from local bars and the piano down stairs. Location is perfect close to the most beautiful beach and main shops.

Aircon took a while to turn on each time, but believe it was being fixed at the time.

Location was excellent. Breakfast was very nice. The lady who assisted at breakfast and cleaned was lovely. The gentleman managing was very accommodating upon and before our arrival. For example he called before arrival to ensure a smooth check in etc.

One big minus was being told on our final night that we had to check out at 9am the next morning. That is very early IMHO and even before the breakfast service is finished. I asked if 11 was possible and was told no. It really cut short our final night and lead to some major logistical issues the following morning and no one wants to think/plan too much while on vacation. Otherwise a nice enough location with friendly staff. You are getting what you pay for in terms of room and services, no frills but it works.

Staying at Camere di Cecè Tropea was an unforgettable experience. The location is absolutely perfect—right in the heart of Tropea, surrounded by stunning views and the authentic charm of the town. What makes this place truly special, however, is Cecè himself. He has a way of making you feel not just like a guest, but like a part of the culture and history of Tropea. His warmth and hospitality give the whole experience a personal touch you won’t find anywhere else. The associated restaurant is simply outstanding—the food is fresh, full of flavor, and a perfect showcase of the region’s culinary tradition

The property is right in the heart of the old town without it being noisy at night. It has a proper authentic Italian charm which is beautiful. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic.

The rooms being more authentic didn’t cool down with the current aircon system, which made it a bit difficult to sleep at night given we were there during peak summer. If you book this place, just know that it might have some warmer nights - but everything else about it was lovely.

😊 Esperienza eccezionale! Ho soggiornato in una camera che ha soddisfatto ogni aspettativa. La posizione è strategica, perfetta per esplorare la città senza stress: vicina ai principali punti d'interesse e comodissima per spostarsi. La stanza era confortevole e arredata con gusto, ma ciò che ha reso il soggiorno davvero speciale sono stati i proprietari: gentili, accoglienti e sempre disponibili. Mi hanno fatto sentire come a casa, con piccoli gesti e sorrisi sinceri. Tornerò sicuramente e consiglio questa struttura a chiunque voglia vivere un esperienza simile.
