Ai Terrazzini

I Terrassini is located in the Sassi Barisano region. It is easy to arrive there. I could park the car at half a kilometer distance, and from there is was a small walk. It is very quiet there and all attractions can be easily reached on foot. The room was very comfortable. A very good breakfast is served with a good choice of items.

There was nothing I didn´t like. The cappuccino at breakfast was very good, although it was machinemade and not the traditional italian way, which would be a little better.

I loved the Location, the breakfast, my room, the comfort of the bed, the view...the contact with Mariangela, very very helpful...the 2 ladies at the Breakfast...lovely ones.

Fijne locatie: goed te bereiken en een goede uitvalsbasis voor Matera! Aardig personeel met goede tips, mooi uitzicht op de stad, prima bed, lekker ontbijt

Inchecken is vanaf 14:00, dus ik plande mijn dag hier omheen en was er stipt om die tijd. Daar moest ik nog ‘even wachten’ tot mijn kamer klaar was, maar dat werd uiteindelijk drie kwartier. Ik had maar één middag in Matera, dus toch jammer om zo lang kwijt te zijn aan wachten. Ook deed de wifi het helaas niet in de kamer. Er zou een terras bij de kamer zijn, maar dat was niet zo (of zijn alle terrassen gedeeld?)

la chambre n'était pas terrible, il s'agissait de la numéro 12. Peu de lumière, table bancale, Il y avait beaucoup de poussière.

The breakfast, which was delicious and varied, was excellent. There was a selection of local cheeses, fresh honey, pastries both sweet and salty, and the fresh fruit was much appreciated. The staff were very kind and helpful with suggesting sites and bites. The room was enormous, comfortable and quiet.

The water pressure would occasionally falter in the morning.

Good location

The AC did not work and when we mentioned it to the front desk next day, he didn’t seem to care either. He was just like ‘Thank you for letting me know’ when we didn’t sleep the whole night because of this.
