The hotel was spotlessly clean and the staff were very helpful. The junior suite is a very generous size. As the hotel is about 1.5km out of town, it’s great that they have free bikes. The massage service was excellent and very well priced. There was a good range of food available at the breakfast buffet.

It’s perhaps a bit more isolated than I realised from a convenience store. But there are benefits - away from the bars at night which would get loud.

Front desk Staff were extremely helpful and always willing to assist. Thor was exceptionally great and always keen to help. Breakfast buffet had good variety and kitchen staff lovely. In house dining was reasonably priced. Quiet location. Free bike hire and cheap laundry next door.

The bathrooms are not well designed as other reviewers have commented, though I was skeptical they could be that bad and booked despite this, and I have to say it is bad. The bathroom in the kids room had a single drain on the opposite side to the open shower - this meant the tiled bathroom floor is completely wet after each shower and this is a real slip hazard. Our upgraded room (which was much appreciated) had a sunken shower/bath that required one to navigate the shiny slippery (when wet) tiles. This bathroom is a major hazard as you could slip and crack your head so it is not recommended for anyone who has young kids, or poor balance.

We don’t understand the high ratings of an essentially unfinished hotel. No soundproofing which resulted in excessive noise through the hotel. Leaking toilet, no shower doors and missing curtains. Genuinely an uncomfortable stay. Work is required to get the hotel up and running to an appropriate standard.
