"Far away, but great food, low price, clean, and comfortable"

Very good Japanese style hotel, combing the Japanese ambience, supreme food, and western style comfort (private bathroom and shower).

It is a bit far from the railway station. You need to take bus and the bus is not frequent. But I think that is why you get great food (dinner and breakfast) at this price level. I still think the good service worth the extra trouble of transportation.

"Home away from home"

Clean and comfortable. We had the breakfast each morning and it was amazing, the best part of our trip! Also I misplaced my passport and the hotel helped me call around to locate it. Very helpful and wonderful!

"A delightful experience"

The room was clean and we had a good time in Nikko staying here. It is located between the lake and the temple area, about 20min to travel on either sides. The shower area had a small pool, big enough for three comfortably to relax. As there are no food options nearby, you may want to consider having the ryokan meals or have it in the Nikko town area become coming in. There is a Family Mart in the vicinity as well.

There is no food options nearby as it seems to be a pure residential area.
