The Study at Yale

Location, cleanliness, friendly restaurant and valet staff

Never seen such unfriendly staff at the check in counter. Is snobbiness a concept at The Study? NOT what you'd expect from a hotel of that standing. At the front desk, a staff gave me a look when i asked him to keep oir luggage for an hour after check out, and he said to his colleague, clearly audible, "Help! They're piling a bunch of luggage on me. Yuck" Yuck?? For one, we can hear you and we do understand English. Also, that is just not professional. Other staff at check in and check out are pretty unfriendly too. Try smiling, guys.

Comfortable, quiet, great design, coffee, and the restaurant is superb! We always stay here when we are in town.

Chic boutique hotel with a “library vibe”

The dining room and breakfast food service is generally okay though could be better for the clientele. The food order came to the table not as ordered and the side salad provided was brown-tinged lettuce
