Nordic Inn Thorshavn

Well equipped kitchen

First picture of the announcement is not the Nordic Inn but the Nordic House, which is a cultural center across the street. That is quite misleading and had us believe we were going to sleep in that building. Bad bathroom to guest ratio (1 per floor with 3 rooms on our floor), especially bad since the toilets are inside the bathrooms and we were instructed to use the bathroom on our room's floor. Bed did not match pictures and was very short (I could not lie down without touching it at both ends) Room was very damp No acoustic isolation so lots of noise (guy in the next room snoring, boiler in the hallway, people walking and talking in the room above us) Room at terrace level with partially opacified windows which no view but still a possibility for a tall person walking on the terrace to see inside. Fridge was not very clean

Friendly host, well equipped kitchen and comfy environment.

The place was super-clean. The kitchen was very well equipped. Our room had its own exit door. The hosts were super nice (even when I almost wrecked their dryer). There was always a car parking space available.

The only thing I didn't like was that the other guests were using the washing machine and dryer in the evening and that was very noisy.

Nice house, free parking spot, welcoming staff. Easy to go or drive to the city center.

Poor acoustic insulation (and we were unlucky—we had a room neighbor who talked loudly every night at 11). Humidity in the basement room. The shared toilet/bathroom wasn’t cleaned during our entire 5-day stay.

A wonderful guesthouse conveniently local in Torshavn. The room is large and it has everything you need to be comfortable. The owners are awesome! I highly recommend this guesthouse.

Friendly stay, convenient if travelling cheap

The picture of the facility advertised is misconfusing, as it does show the Nordic House, not the Nordic Inn. Therefore, the picture does not correspond with the real place, located across the street.

The other guests above us were a little loud
