Riverside Rothbury Swift S Pod

Very happy with the accommodation and location. Everything you need for a short stay. Well laid out and quiet area. Rothbury is a 5 min walk with plenty of shops, pubs and places for food. Cragside is a must at only 5mins drive away.

The pod was what it said on the tin. Small but cleverly designed to give maximum storage and comfort. Heating worked well, shower excellent and Towels etc provided were good quality. Unfortunately we had a couple of issues when we arrived with a broken toilet seat, fridge door, lack of sink plug but these were sorted after a visit to the office. However, the pod hadn’t been cleaned to the standard we would have expected in these times. The bed had crisps under it, stuff left in fridge from previous occupants and toilet not clean. Good job I took bleach and anti-bacterial spray. Owners very apologetic and pleasant.

Lovely secluded getaway. Friendly staff in the office. Swift Pod was perfectly appointed and clean. Highly recommended for anyone wishing to explore Rothbury and surrounding areas.

A cute little pod, compact with everything we needed, including electric heating if it got cold. Nice surroundings in a lovely village.

Just ideal for what it was being used for, tried all beds. Bunk and double quite close for comfyness

The Pod was deceptively spacious and cleverly designed, with lots of storage, comfortable beds and a lovely bathroom. The site is quiet and pleasant and the staff were very helpful. Altogether a very enjoyable experience.

Great camping pod situated in a good area of Rothbury. Pod was modern and home like. Pod held 4 people however it would be very small for 4 adults and is more suitable for a family of 3 or 4. Good facilities and in a quiet, safe location. Would definitely return.
