Millbrae Residence - Donnini Apartments

Location excellent. Good that we had a parking space.

We knew that one of the toilets wasn't working but it took 4 days for it to be rectified. QR codes didn't work for either the wifi or apartment information. Lounge window wouldn't shut and we reported it but nothing done. We bought some oil for the creaking bathroom door. Only basic utensils provided in the kitchen. In our opinion the apartment needs some tlc. Ensuite bathroom still had the previous occupants soap in the shower. Both bedrooms had sliding wardrobe doors which were faulty.

Not being able to use ensuite or bedroom due to leak and smell was horrible did report was ment to be fixed !!!! No WiFi window in livingroom would not shut sliding doors broke

Location was great really close to a large home bargains(one with a cafe inside). About 5 mins walk to get to Ayr central shopping centre. Comfy beds and sofa. Pretty much everything you could need

I didn't like that the kitchen chair screws were loose. There was one chair that was being used to hold the kitchen door open and it felt like it was one sit down away from collapsing into pieces. The hoover didn't work, the internet instructions didn't make sense, everywhere tells you it's EE WiFi they even had a picture of this on one of the walls but it was BT WiFi. 2 flights of stairs to go up so not very kind on the knees. But who doesn't love a cheeky work out! Not really toddler friendly but we made it work and my little one really loved it here

Good location. Adequate parking.

Could have been cleaner. The en-suite shower was dirty. The showerhead was held in place with garden twine and cable ties.

Great location and very quiet. Within walking distance to all amenities. Apartment was a great size and adequately furnished. Am enjoyable stay.

Good location, well maintained grounds of property.

Unwelcoming entrance hallway. Carpets old and dirty. The apartment is tired, needs redecoration throughout and general maintenance. Beds uncomfortable. Very creaky floorboards. Cleaning standards need improved between guests. Photos say it all. Cost £520 for 2 nights Sent private email prior to review but sadly no response. Disappointing.

Great location, lots of space.

Decor beginning to show its age, upkeep not up to the original standard of decoration, generally clean but skirting, walls, oven and corners need attention.
