lovely old pub but rooms had a lovely modern finish to them, very comfy bed, great shower. staff were lovely, breakfast was amazing, location was perfect

my cod was very salty but otherwise wouldnt change anything

We loved everything - it’s so welcoming and comfortable here. This was our second visit and it was as good as the first. We had a fantastic evening meal and the breakfast was top quality. We hope to come back again.

Nice village location, not far from alton towers. Accomodation separate from pub. Pub closed Mondays, so nice and quiet. Dog friendly
