Would have loved a room with a view
GBGreat host and family that went to great lengths to ensure we enjoyed our stay. They provided a comprehensive list things to do and to see in the locality. The food was good, not exceptional. We were there four nights and the menu did not change, a daily special would have been appreciated. (There was an excellent Thai restaurant just up the road). Superb room exceptionally comfortable bed. We loved our stay and would not hesitate to stay again.

FRWe had a perfect stay. From the moment we stepped in, until the last goodbye, we enjoyed every single detail of The Heatherlie House. Sonny and his family made us feel welcomed, the meals were delicious, as well as the breakfast. We also enjoyed the numerous areas of in the garden to sit and relax with a cocktail ! The rooms are clean, the beds are very confortable. These two days made a perfect relaxing escapade. Sonny also went above and beyond to give us advice on where to go and what to visit according to our time schedule. The loch near the house is a very nice walk that I would recommend. Thank you Sonny for everything !

GBWe had a great stay, from the moment we arrived (late) we were looked after. Nothing was too much trouble & our hosts were incredibly thoughtful, going well out of their way to assist & to help us. We were attending a Family wedding nearby, so logistics & timings were important but everything went to plan. We couldn't have been more pleased.

NLCannot recommend highly enough for anyone visiting or travelling through the Borders region. Absolutely the best hotel we have stayed at in quite some time. From check in to check out, Sonny and team took excellent care of us. From a great cooked breakfast, to a delicious diner (do try the lamb!), to the comfortable room and bed. Will deffinitely return when next in the area.
