Geweldig hotel helemaal in stijl en eigenaren die werkelijk alles voor je willen doen. Heerlijk gegeten Zowel ontbijt als diner. Speciaal dank je wel Sonny

Niets alles was prima. Als we dan iets moeten bedenken misschien iets van kaas bij het ontbijt

So much to like. The hotel is just full of character, amazing staircase, lots of pictures and interesting furnishings, nice gardens with places to sit and relax, a great welcome from Sonny who looked after us so well. We had a very spacious room, large comfortable bed, good breakfasts. Evening meals were generous size and not expensive. There is a well-stocked bar. It is walking distance from Selkirk town centre yet with the grounds and trees it has a quiet ambience. Selkirk well-placed to visit the beautiful Abbeys and stately homes of the Borders. Look forward to going back.

Nothing not to like.

Warm and friendly welcome. Second visit. Sonny is an excellent host. Managed my wife's food allergy very well. Only issue is the size of the shower room but as it's an old property the ensuite addition to the bedroom is well done. Looking forward to our 3rd visit.

Das Frühstück war sehr gut in Qualität und Auswahl, zusätzliche Wünsche wurden erfüllt. Es gab sowhl Schottisches Frühstück als aich eine große Auswahl an Cerealien. Der Frühstücksraum war sehr geschmacktvoll eingerichtet mit Blick in den Garten. Es war alles bestens, vom Empfang durch den Hausherren und seine vielen Empfehlungen für Unternehmungen bis zum hervorragendemAbendessen in der ebenfalls geschmackvoll im schottischen Stil eingerichteten Bar.

We loved the peace and privacy. Heatherlie House Hotel stood in its own grounds, near to a main road but in complete quiet. It was beautifully presented, with fitting decor for a house of its age. Our en-suite room, was bright, pristinely clean, comfortable and spacious, with views out to the lovely garden and beyond. Breakfast was delicious! Plenty to eat and a wonderful start to the day. We also had dinner in the bar, which was perfectly cooked and presented. We had mentioned in passing we were celebrating a birthday and came back from a day out to find a bottle of wine and a card in our room. Which was a very nice touch. Nothing was too much trouble and we were given information on things to do, near and far from the property. There was a folk night on the Friday night we stayed, which was organised by a very friendly bunch of locals. It was a fantastic evening to end our stay. Thank you for a lovely time. We can’t wait to return.

There was nothing to dislike.

Een familiehotel van klasse. Onze gastheer, Sonny, deed er alles aan om ons verblijf zo comfortabel mogelijk te maken. Hij gaf ons tips voor wandelingen in de omgeving en we kregen een lunchpakketje mee. De kamer was ruim. Ontbijt was prima. We hebben alle dagen in het hotel gegeten en dat was lekker en gezellig.

De local haggis heeft zich niet laten zien ;)

Breakfast was very good only what I little bit missing there more savoury items ham, cheese plate. We love this place very quiet and peaceful. Staff was absolutely brilliant

Lots of hills in the area, steep streets around the very pretty Selkirk. In hotel, stairs to bedrooms and 2 steps into shower. So just be prepared to keep fit😁
