Cacao Tulum -Luxury Condos-

The hotel is still under construction so not the best road path to get to it. Our room wasn't very clean considering the pandemic - it looked like it was tidied up before our arrival but no deep clean or disinfectant. They charged 100 pesos for extra towels which was very disappointing.

Cacao Tulum is a very nice and quiet. The rooftop pool/bar is perfect for days you don't want to go out. Liz is the best bartender and makes the best margaritas! Be sure to check out La Consentida for great food!

The front desk were very helpful in every way. Allam greeted us and showed us to our rooms and for the entire stay it was always a pleasure talking to him. Til the very end he was nice and always had suggestions and great conversation. They kept the room and pool very very clean. The upstairs pool and bartendar was a joy as well. We will definitely be coming back.

It was very nice, clean, and next to a very nice restaurant we went to twice in two days. The hostess was very welcoming and made sure we knew of the opportunities the place had to offer before we checked in. It's well hidden and we felt safe, even at night. Definitely what tourists like my fiancé and I needed for a quick trip!

My room was disgusting. The floors were dirty with construction dust from the outside. There was water damaged walls in the living room and bedroom. Make up on walls. The private pool was cloudy with dead insects. The TV didnt work. Only one TV in the living room. Hot water lasted for 2 mins. I didnt have a phone in my room to contact the front desk! This room was so horrible i checked out a day earlier. Oh they also had gnats every where

Beautiful rooms and gorgeous pool! The front office was so helpful with calling us a cab, suggesting restaurants, and helping us get around. Also just very friendly in general! The rooms and showers are very relaxing, has a nice spa feel to it. Will definitely stay here again!

Great property. Staff are helpful and kind. Only thing lacking was a decent amount of hot water in the shower.

Toilets didn’t flush/kept clogging. Mosquitos everywhere inside of the unit. I’m covered in bites. No clean towels - we had to use the same towels for 5 days. No HOT water in shower.

The property is beautiful, I believe they should tell their customers they don’t have washcloths available for use. The receptionist at the front desk is phenomenal! She’ll come up to your room if she don’t understand you over the phone and figure out what you need help with. Everyone was very welcoming. The only con is that they don’t have a bar right now in the swimming area. Also your private pool connect it to your room it’s kind of dirty they should make sure it’s clean upon arrival end it doesn’t heat up ...but if you come in the summer I’m sure you’re not gonna need to heat it. The location at this hotel is great because it’s about five minutes away from Tulum town where the bars and restaurants are. They also have a money Exchange on the strip 19.50...Which beats the rate of the airport money exchange.

Repairs being done at all hours. Pool was never cleaned, bartender was never onsite.
