The Altruist Whitefield Hotel

Breakfast was pretty nice, with a mix of south and north indian cuisines. Rooms were a good size, giving us 3 plenty of room to move around or relax.

The staff was not sure about several things, e.g. one of them said breakfast was until 11am, while they started cleaning up by 10:30. The shower area does not have curtains or sliding doors, making the entire bathroom floor wet and messy. A pool table in the game room sounded exciting, but the quality of the table was not :(

The staff was very uncooperative and they didn't even have basic amenities for senior handicapped citizens. Kept asking for a wheel chair and they made us wait infinitely till they go a wheel chair that did not even have a foot rest. I mean come on how hard can it be for u to think about senior citizen travellers. The entrance had a step and no provision for wheel chair access. I mean I just cannot believe that a good hotel like this had a lack of access like a slide at the entrance for wheel chair. We literally had to carry my mom at the point of entrance. She is unable to walk due to her age. Another disclaimer do not opt for an all mean plan. It is a sham. They show you a good hotel like Punjab which is connected with the hotel on the ground floor but an all meal plan is served on the third floor buffet is pathetic. I had a stomach infection eating their chicken from the buffet but stick to vegetarian only. Exhorbitant rates n a pathetic room service. Ur wasting your money and end up spending more.

It’s not a hotel just a service apartment. Intercom not working rooms are too small. It looks like a flat.

Not at all good for family. Service not good power cut was there for 30mins with no backup. Restaurant staff also not at all service friendly. Room land phone not working.
