Så dejligt et ophold. God service og man følte sig virkelig hjemme.

This place feels like a happy sigh or a big deep breath, the location and view is incredible and everything about it is real. The staff are smiling when you walk up and it just has a nice “air and atmosphere”. All around is green and nature, the food smells and looks great, when you walk up it’s busy and efficient but not hectic and all the customers are content. A really genuine and honest establishment where you feel more like family than a customer. I recommend you try it, it’s good for the heart, soul and stomach ❤️

Hotel Harmonien is a success only for one thing and one thing only: The location down by the sea with a beautiful seaside view. Other than that the italian owner was not serviceminded, the hotel was shabby and old, toilets and shower in the hall, no refrigerator at the room.

A family get together was set in beautiful surroundings, wiew to the sea, nice friendly staff, the place was full, but we still didn't have to wait to long on our super nice pizzas and home made pasta dishes. The atmosphere is relaxed and tastefully decorated. We will be back

We went to Ærø on our studytrip with our højskole last week. One night we decided to visit this place because it seemed so cozy and idyllic. We went to get some pizza and the first waiter who took our orders were friendly. But a bit later, two of us went to the balcony to enjoy the view and have a glass of wine. The balcony was a part of the restaurant and you could go straight up there from the eating place. Suddenly a woman came. She also worked at the hotel/restaurant, and even though we haven't seen her before, she started yelling at us and threw us away. There was no sign telling us that we couldn't stay at the balcony. We tried to stay in the garden. Then she came again and threw us away. She was out of her mind and didn't wanted to hear what we had to say. Non of us have never tried anything so rude. We were and still are in shock! Never ever are we going to visit that place again or let any of our friends go there.

We stayed at the hotel off season and were the only guests. However, the restaurant was busy. The restaurant served us a brilliant menu, which was not expected at a hotel so far from everything. We enjoyed the freshly baked pizzas which were made right in front of us. The waiters did everything in their power to make us happy. The Italian owner, Monica, has recently bought the hotel. She and her staff are certainly making a great job in making the hotel up to modern standard, but at the same time keeping the hotel in the old traditional style. If you expect a five star modern hotel, you have come to the wrong place. The rooms have no private bathroom/toilet, but you have to find it in the corridor close to the room. That is how our grandparents did. That is also how a real old fashioned “badehotel” should be. The hotel is clean and the staff almost like family.
