Badehotel Harmonien

This gem of a restaurant has authentic Italian food and a stunning view that overlooks the water. The atmosphere is lovely, couples, groups, or families. All were accommodated. We had pizza from a Woodburning oven. Highly recommend for a pleasant dining experience. Great value for a lovely time.

My husband and I are food lovers and we chose Badehotel to host our wedding reception this summer. We were informed by our wedding planner that Badehotel team just started their business and we were very enthusiastic in giving them a chance to surprise us :) Despite some language barrier (I am French Canadian speaking too little danish or italian), we quickly felt the motivation from Federicio for offering the best of his business. He is very easy to work with and was extremely flexible and sensitive to our needs. He likes face-to-face communication, which is indeed always more efficient than an email or sms. After some emails, skype sessions and a visit to the restaurant prior to the wedding, we decide on a simply delicious menu made with love. We had a 500 dkk/guest budget and the team chose local products. The starter was well balanced. The buffet contained a large selection of good meat. On the vegetarian side, perhaps a big green salad of some sort would have pleased some of my guests (the groom...who trusted me with the menu - and 2 vegetarian friends that i totally forgot to mention to the chef about! oups! my fault!) The chef made the best tiramisu i ever tasted (and FYI, i should precise that it is my signature dessert that I learned from having spent 10 y at an italian-catholic-nun college, so I am well educated on this, hehe!). We could definitely feel the italian vibe with their generosity towards kids... and their lovely dog :) For the wine (all italian of course), I think I forgot to make some choices because of wedding-overwhelming-stress.. but it turned out so well and of course, Federicio had a solution for everything! And he also greatly respected and consider my mother-in-law strict diet (no lactose/gluten/etc) criterion. I tried to gather some feedback of my closest friends about their experience in badehotel. Here is what i heard: - my bridesmaid said that she noticed the table could have used more of a female touch regarding decoration (e.g. flowers, etc). I couldnt care less myself since the food was decorative and appetitive enough but i guess this is something that can be worked on especially if danish island wedding and badehotel are teaming up together! - the tables were tricky to set up for a 25 guests event... especially with the new pizza oven in the nicest room with the view that took a lot of space. People in the back end next to us in the center had some troubles moving around for the buffet. I guess the table set up would have been more relevant for a sit-down service than a buffet like ours. Moreover, I am sure the coziness of the room will improve soon once the oven is in service and the pizza smell inhabits the dining area ;) We had the privilege to walk and use many of their rooms for the reception. The room with the view, the living room area which is perfect for young kids and grand-parents as well as the main dining section. We were very lucky to be able to take the time we needed and want to enjoy and relax outdoor especially with the nice weather. It was very "hyggelig". Federicio had set up an iphone and speaker for the musical ambiance. There was no internet available for clients but Federicio was so generous that he even shared his private phone internet connection with me and my mom who was so eager to hear from my pregnant sister about to give birth... 7000 km away! ;) In conclusion, badehotel team is a very reliable and committed group that started up very well! :D I would recommend it to any couples, but especially those who have strong family values and love to eat :) The bride :)

I went for a walk that day and I couldn't help noticing that they had a real pizza oven, and a Vespa parked in the backyard...they must be italians, I said to myself! That evening I decided to give it a try, and I had one of the best pizzas I ever tasted (I'm italian, I know what I'm talking about!). I haven't tried anything else, but the dishes they were bringing to the other tables looked delicious too. It's really worth a visit.
