Gables Cove Hotel

Room was absolutely disgusting with liquids on couch which got onto our clothing

Overpriced for what was a motel and upgraded to a hotel. Inside was upgraded but floor did smell of bleach and lots of outside traffic noise. No coffee maker

Very strange room set up. Shower cabin is exposed to the room, no doors between the two. No hot water. No iron. Fridge and microwave, those were the positives

All in all was an alright stay not worth the money .

Read up on a couple reviews. I typically like giving benefit of the doubt and the rooms did look appealing in the pictures. Initially we checked in earlier then our time so they let us into a room until our main room was ready. This initial room was filthy. There was hair all over the beds and pillow, unclean/chipped furniture, flies around the place, etc. You should never put guests in a room like this. When it came time to switch - we initially had to go through the annoyance of explaining to the people that we were just in that room for the meantime (nobody seemed to speak good English here). We finally got everything situated and checked in to our main room. This room was definitely better than our previous. However - there were still strands of hair on the pillow. Other than that - room service barges in without knocking or having any real method of how they intend to see if you’re inside or not. There were no irons or hairdryer. Overall - the room itself looked okay. The cleanliness of this place needs a lot of work. Workers are okay. Helpful when they want to be.

This place is not a hotel, it is a motel that rents by the hour if you so desire. Sofa shaped like a pair of lips in the lobby as well as atm and signs assuring you they do not engage in illegal activity such as prostitution but yet brochures that give you options to rent by the hour. Pictures of Marilyn Monroe and many mirrors adorn the walls of my room and a super cheap bidet next to the toilet in the bathroom. No fridge, no safe, a mandatory room cleaning even if you don't want it. Sketchy, avoid this place!!!

Quiet even though it is on SW 8th St a very busy street in Little Havana. All the rooms face a courtyard. Room rates are lower than posted on the internet. If you don't want frills it's a good buy. TV channels are limited. AC worked well.

very bad area, poor services, the room smell like mold. The whole builden need to be painted and update.

We were looking forward for our 4 days stayed and we encounter a very disappointing our situation. This was an overprice and misleading. We should get our money back for pain an suffering. The picture in the internet and the brochure tell different story. 1-front desk (very cold treatment) and wanted to charge me $10.00 for a second key, deposit of $20.00(returned). 2-towels two gray ones one upside down with an ugly big stain (Clorox), no Kleenex . 3-no night tables, room phone on the floor, hallways not to clean, no clothes hangers, bed wood with problem, local tv only.. First time that we encounter such a problem in our traveling and we had stayed in many hotels.
