Nice old pub in a quiet location

My room smelt strongly of damp and had a wet patch in the carpet, the tv remote didn’t work.

Comfortable and roomy. Staff were friendly.

I lost an earring at the location and contacted management by email within a few hours after but did not receive a reply. Difficult to contact people when you are travelling from overseas and have data but no phone connection. this should be considered. Quite expensive relative to other places we have stayed.

A perfect place for a quiet getaway. Room very spacious and bed so comfortable. Restaurant menu had a good selection to choose from. Plenty of parking.

We booked in for Sunday lunch. The restaurant was very busy and the service was not as good as expected.

Staff were very friendly, beer (apart from Madrid, really) was great and food was stunning.

Could hear music, talking from below my room.

The staff were all very attentive. The room was so comfortable and clean. The menu in the restaurant was good, if a little expensive.

Breakfast was a little too late at 8am as I needed to be out by 730. Also there was a quiz on in the main bar that you could hear very well from my room. Would have been nice to have taken part but all the tables were booked out. Although I did have use of the restaurant for as long as I needed.

Clean, comfortable.
