Centrally located. Nice property, bright and airy Very quiet in the evenings, good to catch up sleep after a hectic day. Very clear directions from the host. Seems to be a great host.

One of the toilet seats in the bathroom was broken. So the point of taking a property with an additional bathroom was lost.

The internet needs some attention. Very poor

This was my second time round. I absolutely love the location, very close to Broadstairs, Botany Bay, Margate. It’s a 10 to 15-minute car drive. The chippy next door is delicious. Also, there is a car park a stone’s throw away from the property. Netflix was great, the management team at SecondNest are brilliant in terms of customer service and communication.

Some minor issues like toilet seats were loose broken, one of the wheels on the shower screen was broken, showerhead rail fixture partly broken, also the room doors could do with locks

Clean, functional, excellent location. The host was accommodating by providing us with brand new fans as it was a very hot weekend when we visited.

Door code didn’t work initially and host had to reset it. But he was very easy to contact and very helpful.

I had a very disappointing and distressing experience at this apartment. It was advertised as child-friendly, but that was far from the reality. Upon arrival, the apartment did not match what was shown online. The reception area had two TVs — one mounted on the wall (which wasn’t working) and another placed loosely on a table. I immediately flagged this as a safety concern, especially with my 1-year-old child, and asked for the second TV to be removed. Unfortunately, my concerns were ignored, and the TV ended up falling on my baby, causing injury. This was a terrifying and heartbreaking moment for me as a parent. The apartment also had several other safety issues: • The reception window was extremely low, making it dangerous to open with a child in the room. • There was no floor mat provided, and both my baby and I slipped and fell multiple times, hitting our heads. • The floors inside were uneven and hazardous, especially for young children and even adults. • The stairs leading to the apartment were steep and difficult to manage. • The WiFi was poor and unreliable. • The apartment had a strong, unpleasant smell, almost like pest infestation. Overall, I deeply regret staying here. The hosts showed little concern for our safety, and the property was not at all suitable for children, despite what was promised. I hope future guests — especially families — are warned and that improvements are made urgently.
