The property and surrounding gardens and pool are beautiful. Lots of lovely areas to sit out and enjoy the peace and quiet. We did the wine tour and tasting there - our host was very knowledgeable and the wines were delicious. We also had a meal at the onsite restaurant- again beautiful location and delicious food. We felt that the apartment was missing wine glasses and kettle. Also the upstairs apartments are further from any outside seating areas which meant we didn’t eat outside (other than when we were at restaurant) and hauling luggage up and down is something to consider as there are lots of steps - probably worth asking for a downstairs apartment with no stairs and closer to outside space.

I can’t express just how lovely our stay was. Yes, the rooms are rustic but built in the 1500s is the CHARM! There are plenty of linens, the beds were good, the windows had screens so could be left open with the breeze. We stayed in the three bedroom apartment which accommodated my husband and our two teenage daughters well. The bathrooms are functional and work well, no complaints there. The grounds were inviting and beautiful. There are two pools which had gorgeous views. We ate at the restaurant two nights and the food was really good. Their olive oil is absolutely amazing and I highly recommend it. They also serve breakfast which includes a variety of foods and cappuccino if you so please. We took a cooking class on pasta making which was so much fun. We ended our stay with a tour of the wine cellar which had been there since the 1300s. Incredible. We did not cook there so I did not get the chance to see how the kitchen functioned. I wish we could have stayed longer . We will definitely return.

Excellent family hotel with all the facilities. Owner was very helpful with EV charging. Good on-site restaurant serving dinners only, with friendly service from Alfredo. Didn't try the pool this time, but it looks great. Excellent Tuscan views from the property.

The breakfast was simple, fresh and lovely.

The restaurant menu was quite limited, and very expensive. Given the location, this was the only dinner option. We had one very disappointing experience. Travelling with a hungry teenage boy, we requested the 'starter' size pasta as a 'main'. The kitchen sent out two starter size plates and charged double, rather than just increase the serving a little. It became a €34 plate of pasta.

Thé views are amazing.

The room I was given was NOT the room I booked. It looked nothing like the pictures online. There were bugs everywhere inside the apartment, and the heat barely worked so it was freezing. Breakfast was disappointing.
