Nothing it was perfect

Staff were understanding & organised refund for the other 2 nights accomodation paid, as we needed to find alternate accomodation. Not easy during the Grand Prix! Refund was to go into our account that day (Friday), however it hasn’t, so will follow up on Monday.

The rooms were located above a pub & club areas. No mention of this in advertising. The room although non smoking smelt of smoke. This was a major issue for my partner who was awake all night with asthma symptoms. The smell seems to be coming from the aircon vent. The bed was also very uncomfortable, rolling into the middle of the mattress.

Not enough basic amenities

Cleanliness of the room. Comfy bed. Reception staff always friendly

Receptionist was lovely, clean and tidy room.

The bar downstairs was noisy but it was okay. Still slept well.

I had dinner and a couple of beers. The meal was well presented and tasty. Friendy staff with a special mention of the security guard that was on duty. A well mannered and helpful guy. Such a change from the usual security personnel who I have meet in the past. Will be back when next visiting Melbourne.
