Huvan Inn

Huvan Inn hotel is a pleasant, intimate bugalow hotel, located close to the beach, surrounded by greenery. The rooms are small but cozy, each with a balcony, friendly service, very good breakfast included in the price, local and continental to choose from. The hotel organizes trips to the coral reef, snorkeling with turtles and dolphin watching. Recommendable.

We stayed 4 nights in Fulidhoo with 2 nights at Huvan Inn. It’s located in the island center, close to the beach and supermarket. The room was spacious and clean, wifi was fast. All the staff were very nice and friendly, different options were offered for breakfast. It’s a small island but so stunning and picturesque!

Good location, very near to bikini beach. Fairly quiet.

Huvan guesthouse is a lovely, family owned place, next to the “Cathedral” of Fulidhoo as I liked to call it the week we were there. The cathedral is composed of 200 year old Banyan trees that fight the huge palm trees for the incessant rays of the sun. A truly special place on a beautiful island. The bar next to the hotel makes great non-alcoholic drinks and provides a blissful atmosphere for card or game play while watching the waves come in and enjoying the sea breeze. I’m saddened that I cannot remember our guest host’s name but he was great, always had a kind smile and helped us with our luggage and anything else we asked. The family was kind enough to swipe our card for some much needed cash as we were running low on our last day on the island (no atm’s on Fulidhoo) and we needed a way to pay the speedboat back to Male. They also gave us a great deal on our room rate. Large, clean rooms with that great view of the “cathedral!”

Trip's 10/10 (best value trip's in Maldives, we swimm 2x with the manta rays in the ocean, Jimmy is the best captain and tour guide) go for the trips. Location 10/10 ( in front of a tree that seems from other planet) Service 10/10 ( thanks to Sahil who was there to assist in everything) Management 10/10 ( we had an emergency an Iko helped us immediately) Food 10/10

The location of the hotel is great…the snorkeling point at the beach there was great… The stuff was nice and helpful…

Very small room with small bathroom The price was in my opinion high for that standard…absolutely nothing special… The trips you book there where made by a local who don’t support you anyhow… The room was cleaned before we arrive but no cleaning in 4 night we stay there…for change towels and everything you need you have to go ask by yourself…it’s not a big thing but for 60$ the room per night I know other standards (but in Maldives that’s maybe the standard if you don’t book a super resort)

Overall, the hotel is great for a short stay, especially considering the ease of navigating the small island. The staff were friendly, but it was a bit inconvenient to track them down whenever assistance was needed, whether for payments or providing passport information upon arrival. Additionally, the breakfast options were limited, and while the quality was average, it left room for improvement. Nonetheless, if you're seeking a simple stay and don't mind these minor inconveniences, this hotel could be a suitable choice.
