Solaria Nishitetsu Hotel Sapporo

깔끔한 호텔, 방도 너무 좋고 넓은편이에요 대욕장도 있어서 좋고, 프론트에 한국어 가능하신분도 있어요 삿포로 역 까지 5분? 정도 거리라 가까우나 주변에 술한잔 할만한곳은 없는것같아서 아쉽습니다

Stayed for 6 nights with my wife: 1. Location - Around 50 minute drive from New Chitose airport. We booked an airport pick-up for convenience since we have 5 luggage. - About 5 minute walk to Sapporo subway station. - Near several bus stops. About 1-5 minute walk, depending on which stop - There is a nearby Lawson convenience store, just beside the hotel. - Walking distance to several malls: APIA, Stellar Place, Daimaru, and Tokyu Plaza. Very convenient since these malls have various restaurants, groceries, and shops. - Just one station away from Odori Park and two stations away from Susukino. Very near, you can actually walk going to these places from the hotel (15-20 min walk). 2. Hotel grounds and facilities - Spacious main lobby. - Several chairs and couch. Very comfortable to wait for your check-in/check-out. - Lobby has big windows so you get to enjoy the street view. - 4 elevators. All worked well. - 2 entry and exit points. Front and back of the hotel. - Restaurant at the 2nd floor but we did not try it. - Gym is small. Just 2 treadmill machines and 1 stationary bike. They do not allow guests with tattoos. - Male and female onsen were available. We weren't able to use it because we have tattoos. They do not allow guests with tattoos, like the gym. - Vending machines are available at the basement level. Suggest to buy at the convenience store instead for cheaper drinks. - 1 small microwave and an ice dispenser are available at the basement level. - They do not have water dispenser. They replenish your 2 bottled water in the room daily. This is not enough so just buy big water at the convenience store. - The toiletries are available near the entrance. - Laundry machines were available for a fee. 4 for women, 3 for men. 3. Room - Room is small. Typical to most Japan hotels. - The bed, pillows, and comfortable were clean and comfortable. - TV, coffee maker, hair blower, air purifier were available. - Hot and cold shower. - There is a bath tub. - Shampoo, body wash, and conditioner were provided. - Automatic bidet. - Shower, sink, and toilet were separate. - The room was generally clean, however, when we tried to put some clothes on the ledge on top (ceiling), the area was dusty. They do not clean this part so in a way the room can be dusty. - Towels were clean. - No cabinet for clothes. - Safety deposit box was available. - Wifi signal/speed was good. - Only small window. Our view was facing the building beside the hotel. - They provide pajamas/sleeping wear. Very convenient so no need to bring one. They change these every other day. 4. Service - The staff were generally nice but the ones we encountered were not really good in English. - They allowed us to check-in early (1pm) because my wife is pregnant. - They clean the room every other day. They just hang an ecobag containing the bottled water, fresh towels, and coffee on the door. - We used extra plastic bags for our garbage since the trash cans in the room were small. However, when they cleaned the room, they did not throw the plastic bags even though we placed it near the door. Not a big deal but hope they cleaned it as well. - Luggage can be stored while waiting for check-in and after check-out. - Check-out was fast and efficient. We enjoyed our stay in the hotel. The location was the main reason why we chose this. Service was average. Hotel was clean and accessible. We will probably stay at a different hotel when we go back to Sapporo for a different experience.

The hotel is very clean and the room size is adequate for two. Lack of a proper closet and drawers to store your clothing is inconvenience and a minus. The hotel is very close to the Sapporo Train Station and its connecting hugh underground shopping complex - within walking distance. There is a underground walking tunnel leading to a building right next to the Hotel - this is very helpful especially in the winter cold weather and snow. The hotel should emphasize that this underground walking tunnel exists and allow almost direct access to the hotel from the train station via the Asty 45 building

Beautiful hotel. New and clean. Very close to Sapporo station and Odori Park. Room decent size. Recommend.

Close to Sapporo Station

Great location at just a 5mins walk from Sapporo station. Use the underground walkway and it’s just round the corner at about 150m from Artzy building exit. Room is quite small and housekeeping is every alternate day. Breakfast selection is fair with self-serve kaisen don. Do choose a view facing the park. The public bath at B1 is a must-try. There are 3 baths each for both male and female. One of the baths is outdoor.
