Alameda Apartment

Large apartment, clean and good location.

The cleaner showed up 30 mins before checkout and just let himself in. He was a little angry that we were still there getting ready to leave. We decided to leave asap as not to inconvenience him even though checkout is advertised as 11am.

The property is very spacious and clean and also with a balcony connecting the kitchen to the living room. We visited in mid-March with cold mornings so we were glad that both bedrooms were equipped with electric heaters. There is a large super market just 200m from the property where you can get everything. I fully recommend this appartment!

A bit loud mattress in the first bedroom (for my taste), but on the other hand the pillow was the best I've ever had in 4 years of traveling. In general, the only problem was with the hot water. We found out that if you go to the kitchen and turn the hot water on full to heat the boiler, hot water is immediately available in the first bathroom with a bathtub. In the second bathroom with a shower, there was already a problem with hot water and after the first day the children came to bathe in our bathroom because the hot water kept stopping.

A very nice apartment within walking distance of the old town. We would like to come back to this apartment next time we are visiting Faro.

I didn’t like the charge for the money for after 8pm check in , and 40€ wasn’t fair price for the check in late

The location was slightly different in Google map but they were helpful and trough my contact I could arrange to find the right location but there was a charge for after 8 check in

The property is beautiful! Was worried after reading some reviews but we had no problems whatsoever. Spacious, tastefully decorated, clean, helpful amenities (dishwasher, washing machine, great kitchen), and in an excellent location for exploring Faro or hanging out on the balcony. Amazing to have 2 sets of keys, and the staff we interacted with were wonderful, very communicative and polite. Thanks so much for our stay, can’t wait to come back.

If I was to nitpick, the beds were slightly uncomfortable, and the shower couldn’t seem to decide what temperature to be, and the stairs up to the flat can be dimly lit, but it was truly an excellent stay — didn’t mind any of those things!

The apartament was spotless.
