Marlene was extremely kind and accommodating with check-in.

It seems that the two upper rooms get great reviews. Our basement room lacked ventilation and was moldy, stuffy, and loud. In the bedroom there is one horizontal vent of a window onto the street for air, but people would frequently stand outside it and smoke cigarettes. It was very dank and humid. We asked for a fan and didn’t hear back. I imagine the upper rooms are far more comfortable and excellent value!

The interior and decoration was beautiful. The lounge or sitting area within our option was nice and with beautiful river view.

The room was in the basement so that's only negative point.

TV remote didn’t work.

Really nice room not too far away from the town. Did really enjoy the fact that it was by the river so we didn’t need to hike up a hill to get to it. Our host was also super lovely and kind, even offered us some earplugs in case the street noise would bother us but the noise wasn’t too bad at all. Everything was nice and clean, the room was greatly decorated as well.

We booked the Deluxe Room (2 Adults & 1 Child). The information available in the app when we clicked on "room details" was as follows: At the top were pictures of a room with big windows, a lot of light, and a bed in the middle of the room. The information below it said "This triple room has a private bathroom with a hair dryer, featuring a river view, it also has access to a shared patio". In the section that lists the perks of the room it said there was a fridge, a patio and a kitchen (see photos). Then we arrived. We were given no information beforehand on how to get into the house or even which room we were staying in. After finally getting into the front door, we first noticed the damp smell. Then we went into our room, room #1. To our surprise, the bed and bathroom were in a windowless basement, not as depicted in the photos! I triple checked our booking, and the information about this being a basement room is not available anywhere! We would not have booked this room, had we known this, but there was no way to find out before from the information given in the booking. Not only that, but the other information was also false. The owner said no fridge was provided with the room, even though the description clearly said so. The "patio" turned out to be, no joke, a basement room with a skylight! The "kitchen" was in that same basement room, and was just a couple of cabinets and a portable stove (see photos). And no, unlike the owner claimed in her response, the kitchen not being available was not mentioned while booking! We stayed for one night because we couldn't get another room that late, and the windowless basement predictably got incredibly hot overnight. There was no air conditioning down there, and I can only imagine if a fire were to break out this room would turn into a death trap. We checked out the next morning and spent the rest of our stay at a different place.

Comfy, personal, large room. Location great, restaurants outside and an excellent food shop nearby.

Great location, not super central but close enough to the historic area. Good bus connections nearby, but the roads are not too busy. Excellent restaurants and bars very close to the apartment, and a supermarket a few minutes away.

I was hoping to find a kitchen or at least a refrigerator, but apparently the kitchen area had been turned into an additional room and was not accessible; not a dealbreaker but it forced us to eat out pretty much for every meal.
