Urban Haven 2 BR CBD Apartment

The two properties we got to stay in were in really good locations and were very nice other than the few problems we had.

We booked to stay in the little Collins apartment however for the first 24hrs we had no hot water or electricity. We requested for this to be fixed and it could so they kindly upgraded us to a nicer apartment down the road. This did ruin our first day in Melbourne a bit as we could shower nor could we charge any of our phones and we had just got off of a 9 hr flight. The rest of the stay seemed as though it would be fine in the new upgraded apartment. However the problems started again when we check out. The cleaners had sent a video over where all the rubbish that we had bagged up and left neat at the front door, was split open and all over the floor. Because the cleaners did this we didn’t receive all of our security deposit back and the property manager even tried to take an extra £300 out of my bank account without contacting me first. It’s unacceptable, there communication isn’t very good and there cleaners are untrustworthy, not to mention they will just take more money out your bank as and when they please. Wouldn’t recommend.

Grate location, nice big terrace, AC is working good. Clear instructions, washing machine and dryer grate for long trips like ours.

Keys pickup was a bit far, not so confortable with heavy luggage, there is no reception in the building. Got 2 roaches around the fridge area, didn't expect that for that price. The general cleanness can be better see for yourself

The Location was great and the Lounge and Kitchen well appointed.

However the apartment could do with sprucing up (pillows and cushions) and a deeper clean and some general maintenance.

Extremely handy location. Very quiet given location. Showers were great.

Sofa beds not overly comfortable but ok. Needed more crockery for the number of guests the apartment accommodates.
