Kowie River Guest House

Much effort is put into making sure their guests are comfortable, and i really appreciated the thoughtfulness. The breakfast portion of the experience was amazing, too. Thank you 🍃

The hospitality and customer service from the host and staff was exceptional . Best for couples or teenagers if you are travelling with family but not young ones or toddlers . The place is beautiful , clean and morden . The host is 1 message away for any help you might need . Loved it 🥰

Not child friendly much ☹️but they were understanding of the fact that we had little ones but as parents we didn't feel free for them to freely play eg with their soccer ball by the garden area as we had to consider other guests and noise they could make . Would definitely come back without the kids.

Everything from its location overlooking the Kowie River through to its owners who were excellent hosts, for myself personally I found it to be an absolutely wonderful stay and will without a shred of doubt be visiting again for my next trip to Port Alfred.

Only thing I can mention is the hot water. I had a bath to relax after a long day and following that was going to shower, at which time the water was not hot enough to do so. It’s most likely due to the size of the geyser but this should not be an issue in most instances.

Die Lage am Kowie Fluss ist wunderbar! Reiches Vogel-Leben, wunderbare Ruhe, fabelhafter Sonnenuntergang, ein erfrischendes Bad im Fluss, und eine tolle Grillterrasse mit Blick auf den Fluss, die dahinter liegenden Auen und die Uferpromenade. Die Unterkunft ist mit allem erdenklichen Komfort ausgestattet, Alles picobello, der Gastgeber nahm sich viel Zeit uns einzuweisen, und uns mit Tipps und Hinweisen zu versorgen. Das Frühstück wurde auf der Terrasse serviert, individuelle Wünsche wurden berücksichtigt. Alles topp.
