"An Outstanding Bed and Breakfast!"

An outstanding bed and breakfast that you would find extremely hard to beat! So clean, well presented, great facilities including tea, coffee and water in your room, and an outstanding breakfast! The Appley Lodge is only 10 mins walk from the Espalande, restaurants, coffee shops, Shanklin Old Town shops and much more. Gareth and Wendy absolutely look after you, with so many nice touches and help if required at all times. They really do make a difference and it does make a real difference with two such warm friendly and hosts. HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL - you will not find a better bed and breakfast in the Isle of Wight.

"Absolutely wonderful, ideal place to stay, great hosts - will be back!"

The location was optimal for everything, but Shanklin is one of my favourite places on the island and you’re right next to the front (lift or small walk down) The breakfast was delicious - highly rate the mushrooms! Exactly what we needed. Definitely will return! Gareth and Wendy were so good to us, so friendly and excellent company. Very considerate of everyone’s needs and very genuine.

Nothing! It was wonderful! I think the only snag was human error because mum worked it out on the last morning but I struggled to regulate the temperature in the shower. I thought it was just lots of people trying to shower simultaneously so it got cold, but as I say - mum worked it out on the final morning!

Wunderbares Haus, Garreth und Wendy sind tolle Gastgeber. Man wohnt mit Familienanschluss. Die Beiden haben viele Tipps für die Umgebung und immer ein wenig Zeit für ein Pläuschchen. Frühstück war sehr gut und immer frisch zubereitet. Wir haben uns total wohl gefühlt.

Da fällt uns nichts ein.

The hosts were a delight! They gave us good recommendations for what to do on the Isle. The lodge was very walkable too town. Parking there was easy. Everything was great!!
