Border House at Crystal Bay Casino

Great, quaint hotel. Perfect location for concerts at Crystal Bay Casino. Room was clean, safe and well maintained. I would return for sure.

Everybody, I mean everybody, was as kind and helpful as anyplace I have ever seen. It's too long to write all things, so saying I will be back is my endorsement. Great team.

Reminder to take the curtains down and wash them we pulled them shut and lots of dust. Room was comfortable and big however the thermostat they couldnt get to work so it was too hot and we had to crack the door open at night.

This was not an enjoyable place to stay. First thing was that the listing says someone will greet you to check you in… NOPE there was a sign stating you needed to go into the casino to check in. We went in and as with most casino’s it reeked of cigarette smoke and no staff were at the desk. We waited there for probably 15 minutes before someone arrived to check us in. Second. We got to the room and were baffled by the setup of the room. We got a room with 2 beds because it was not a romantic getaway. It was a trip for myself 50 year old female and my adult son and daughter. There was a double sided fireplace in front of one of the 2 beds that looked straight into the bathroom. Zero privacy. If someone wanted to use the tub or toilet you had to make sure everyone else stayed clear of the fireplace. Third. It was just dated and dirty looking. The cabinets in the bathroom were in need of repairs, there is no door on the bathroom but rather a dirty curtain on a bent out of shape rod. Fourth. I rented this room because it had a jacuzzi tub in it and I knew we would use it. When we did the water was barely more than Luke warm. I would NEVER stay here again.

Ice cold shower

The room was great, clean and stocked with what you would expect. My only issue was the shower only had cloth shower curtains and there was no door to separate the room from the bathroom. I like to keep the room cool, therefor the bathroom was always chilly and the water temp in the shower was not very hot. Otherwise great option for someone looking to stay in north lake for under $800 a night and have access to a small casino.

It was great and the people are very nice. There is no door in the bathroom though!! It was a curtain. How can you not have a bathroom door?!! The bathtub was wonderful though.

Checked in and cards didnt work to get into room. Nothing to eat at night around area. Room had an old brothel vibe with bad lighting
