Hotel Residenz

(+) I guess it is a good hotel, if you come for business or for personal purpose in Bocholt. Breakfast is good, rooms are spacious and well decorated, safe box, laundry service, big parking, 5 min walk from a supermarket and 5-7 min walk from the railway and bus station. (-) One of my days was not pleasant in the morning, when a lady from morning service asked me not so friendly about my room number and then came to me with a coffee. I said that I have no place so far but she insisted that I have to give her a table, so that she can leave the coffee. It is so inpatient and unprofessional! I never experienced such issues in other hotels. She was just rude. Why could not she wait for me to have a table chosen? When I checked out, I was asked how many nights I stayed and despite of my answer (twice), I was charged for 4 nights instead of 3. I initially wanted to stay 4 nights but well in advance (more than a month), changed my reservation. Why was not it updated in their system? I think that a 4* hotel should not allow such flaws and unprofessional staff behavior.

Housekeeping was excellent, 5-star level of attention to detail Room was quiet with quiet, controllable aircon

Corridors were stuffy and hot

This was the cleanest Hotel I have ever been in. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
