1 The Maltings Apartments

Brilliant place to stay, house was so nice, definitely recommend, would 100% stay again!

We have stayed here many a time and always been a warm welcome and very friendly staff, clean and the perfect location for our engineers.

Location to the prison which we were visiting on a trip

No lounge area

Apartment was lovely and clean and a great location. No living space but it wasn't needed. All rooms are a decent size and perfectly comfortable.

Location, quiet, uncomplicated check in/out, beds comfortable.

Entrance difficult to find. Shower/Toilette very small. Teflon pans very scratched. No seating for 4 or more to eat together.

Beds where comfortable and had freshly made sheets and quilt covers pillow cases on etc. The rooms all had a fan, a window, a TV. It had WiFi. Kitchen was nice and all you needed with a fridge, cooker, sink, glasses, gups, plates, cutlery etc.

The fact that we did not recieve our pincode for the apartment, or information about parking until 3 hours after our check in time. Me and 2 family members arrived at the property with dominoes pizzas and our bags to find that we didn't have a pin code to get i to the apartments. We had to sit eating cold pizza in my car while we waited and prayed that the landlord would send us a code and parking information. We rung him about 9 times to recieve no answer what so ever. Also emailed and text a few times with no answer. We even had to ask a neighbour to contact the landlord and we didn't get a response until 3 hours late! I just just 2 minuites off clicking confirm on a hotel booking at a local travel Lodge. Where we would of spent another 150 pound in hopes of having to get a refund back for the maltings apartments, as we didn't have a pincode or parking information. Just before I clicked confirm hotel rooms at local travel Lodge I got a text with the pin and parking info. Due to the fact that me and my 2 family members had been so frustrated and uspet about this we where just glad we could finally get into the apartments so we could rest after a very long day's drive. Then when I woke up the next morning we found that a parking inspector had put a ticket on my car for parking next to the maltings proeprty. Due to the stress of waiting around for the pincode we where thrown off about the parking as we received the info so late it threw us off course and we left the car outside in the private car park next to proeprty. Wil not be ever going here again. It's a shame because the apartment is decent apart fro. The bathroom. Bathroom Is like a very small caravan style bathroom, you had to have your feet wet every time you went to the toilet as you had to stand in the shower and it was always wet on your feet or buttom of your trousers every time.
