1 The Maltings Apartments

It was ok for a short stop over, we had one night there on our way to Devon. The bedding was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was functional. The price was reasonable. It's difficult to find anything else positive to write about this stay.

This small close is over built and is why you have no chance of getting a parking permit. The recommended parking 2 streets away isn't ideal, especially as it's a house lined street that is also pretty full. The pictured appearance of a ground floor stone cottage is quite misleading as it's a new build with paper walls with a staircase right inside the front door, going up to the 1st floor. The shower is totally inadequate, if not just for the space within, but the extractor fan didn't work, and the drainage in the shower tray was diabolical, forcing you to stand in a puddle "EVERY" time you use the toilet, it's never dry, even after hours without using the shower. The 3 double bedrooms, failed to mention this means there is no living/dining room. One room should be a lounge. But what really took the biscuit was noticing that both the washing up liquid and the hand wash had been extremely watered down to save how many pennies..? That is ridiculously tight fisted. I have noticed some of the previous responses to negative feedback given by the owner, along the lines of, read it properly before you book it etc. but I feel the owner should take the criticism constructively and work to improve the things that several guests have pointed out, because clearly myself and those will not be returning.

The price was great and the location ideal. The 3 double rooms were all of a decent size and the flat was very clean and tidy

Despite pre-arranging with the owner to let us in at 4pm he refused to give us the keysafe code until he arrived in person at 5pm, leaving us waiting outside tired and hungry. The bathroom was a little bit pokey but the shower was decent. The stay was only really marred by the delayed access.

Clean tidy safe and comfortable great location and close to Glastonbury for us Would of rated more apart from the bathroom which wasn’t great but shower worked well we just got a camper van experience haha

The bathroom Maybe a couple of extra utensils in the kitchen but overall great stay was really pleased

No area to sit at all, no living space, outdoor space. The bathroom was no better then a portable loo

Unable to open the window in one of the rooms, very stuffy Wardrobe rattling nonstop every time you walk around the room Bathroom very small and a little dirty Tea and coffee provided but no milk No dining area, only kitchen and 3 bedrooms

Amazing location and incredibly clean and comfortable

Please share a map of the location, we were told by a neighbor that no one can ever find the flat. It took us so long. The description isn't enough, a map with a drawn route on would save so much time.

Perfect location

The beds were uncomfortable, bed sheets need updating and took a long time for details to come through as to how we got into the property
