Clean and the staff are great.

Location is good, place was clean.

There were no kitchen utensils in the kitchen area. This was a single room but it would be nice to have some utensils since there was a cooktop.

Tina from the office was friendly and helpful. The bed mattress was comfortable. The room was noisy from outside traffic and interior appliances ie heat/air conditioner, refrigerator.

In a great area of S.F. and a ‘gem in disguise’. Looks like an old motel that has been well maintained, but when in the room, you feel like you are at a new Hilton. Great value, nice staff, and very quiet. There is shopping and great restaurants nearby, and in a very safe area as well. Great for families or mature adults who just want a nice room and a place to leave a nice vehicle without worry. Will stay here again!

Our family went on a quick weekend trip, booked two nights here for reasonable price; it was obviously recently renovated so it should have been nice and clean however, the walls were filthy with feet prints and such. Also the chairs were banged up and the cloth was totally disgustingly dirty. The beds were very comfortable though and the lady was super nice so I hate to complain, just being honest though!

The room was not very clean, I wiped the furniture and it had a lot of dust. The Microwave was a fire hazard, as it was full of rust and sparked when you turn it on. The mini fridge gets turned off between guest and that caused condensation and mold. I told the clerk and his response was "oh I'm sorry"

Mixed bag: Bed was very clean and very comfortable. The 2-room, 3 bed option is very spacious. The overall condition is so bad. Floors and furniture terrible and stained, bathroom appears recently updated, though, and it's nice. Back slider door didn't lock and was easy to access from outside. There was not a single towel stocked. Staff was attentive and quick to remedy. Cafe downstairs, $20 for 2 lattes. The location was perfect for getting over hwy 12 to the east. The hotel itself is very close to a lot of great shopping.

Location was near Safeway and banks.

Didn’t have regular cleaning services. Once in every three days. We had children traveling with us and it needed to cleaned everyday so it was messy.

Location is central and grounds are well kept.

Rooms are poorly updated. I am from the area and have had guests stay at the Hillside for the last 50+ years. The property is well maintained, but the room updates are cheap, carpet is aged and should be updated. Furniture is old and worn and make the room dingy.

I slept well. The pool was well maintained. There were established trees.

The furniture was dirty and extremely worn. The carpet was dirty. The place had no ambiance or sense of place. The shower did not even have a soap dish or place for shampoo. The kitchen had no utensils, plates, or pots in it so why would you say there was a kitchen.
