"The Worst Hilton Stay I have Ever had - Gold Honors Member"

Breakfast was horrible! Arrived down at 8:50 am and almost no food left. No people refilling the food bins. 2 pieces of fake bacon left, and a man behind me reached over me and grabbed them with his utensil. NO potatoes, NO eggs! 2 inch diameter medallions of some greenish food I did not recognize. Breaded chicken pieces that I recognized were from a frozen package from a grocery store! FOR BREAKFAST. NO fruit. There was bread for toast and no muffins. There was a waffle iron with waffle batter. Batter was splashed all over the counter and 3 people deep line for the waffle machine. Food crumbs all over the floor and a metal food grasper on the floor! NO ONE came to clean anything up. I only ate a tiny Styrofoam bowl of cold cereal, a piece of toast, orange juice and coffee. And I could not even finish the stale food. I am LIVID. A girl came in and started putting more food out slowly as I was finishing. She only put the small circle medallion food things and NOTHING else. Guests were everywhere and no food!! First time having experience this bad with a Hilton stay. Check-in at 3pm pm. I arrived by 3:00pm. I saw on my Hilton app that the room was not ready ("preparing"). I checked in the day before on the app and was going to use my Digital Key (as I usually do). By 3:15pm, room on app still not ready. I went to front desk. She said it would be 45 minutes. I stated, "that is not acceptable". She then said "well, there is nothing I can do". Historically, I ALWAYS get an automatic offer for a free upgrade to a suite at the front desk upon arrival as I am a Gold Honors Member. Not only did she NOT proactively offer me an upgrade upon arrival, she said there was nothing she could do with room being an hour late due to house cleaning. No apology! I then said, "what do you have ready"? She said she has a King Suite ready. I said I wanted that. She said it was not a 2 queens room as I originally booked. I said, "I will take it anyway". Then she did NOT offer me my bottled water and snack. She handed me my keys. I had to ask for the water and snack. She said, "Gold Honor members do not get snacks"! I said, "Gold Honor members do NOT get snacks"? She said, "no". I said, "wow, that is the first time I have EVER heard that". She than said, "well you can get a snack if you want to". I said, "never mind". She did give me 2 water bottles. This is NOT the service I am used to from a Hilton - especially as a Gold Honors member on my way to Diamond. I was not greeted with a smile - just flat mechanical conversation - and I could hardly understand her - her English was so broken, I had to keep asking her to repeat herself. I will never go back to this location again and I strongly advise Hilton Honors members to stay away!

"Run Down Smelly Dump"

Will Not stay here again, rated it a 2 instead of 0 just because of the staff... they were all very nice, felt sorry for them working in such a run down dump. The owner obviously is just milking this till Hilton drops this property for not meeting standards and he changes it to a Main Stay, it already is one (if ya know...) Lots of stuff is broke and hasn't been repaired, just signs stuck om them saying...hey, they broke. It was 85 out and there pool was closed, say a couple folks trying to get in but locked up. I didn't care myself. Room smelled of wet dog/stinky feet, that it needed a intense deep clean is an understatement. Window shade was broke just shoved it up into the top,and over all the room was sub par. I gather this is due to the clientele they get now. won't stereotype, but it was true as I witnessed it myself, Suss, if ya know ya know. One of the bedside stands had been ripped off the wall and was gone just the ripped wallpaper left, sink in kitchen stopped up...... garbage disposal breaker had to be reset and breaker kept tripping because it was so jammed, I finally got it free and flushed it out, all by myself. Luckily I am handy :) Ice machine on my floor been broke...ain't gettin fixed. Water pressure was a joke drizzled out.... come on really, I mean when you pay big bucks you expect at least average,above par maybe, even rather nice. This property was none of the above. Breakfast was basic and didn't change the 3 days I ate there, really cheap, you could tell they were cutting corners everywhere they could. Even the channel lineup was considerably less than other Hilton properties in the area ie. no weather channel, just Accu weather They had food just cheapest quality available while still barely meeting standards., compared to options at other Hiltons. Attention: THERE will be some suss rebuttal by some "management" person, all is well.... Should have let us know..... We were unaware...... please contact us to help solve this..... blah blah blah THEY KNOW!!!! IT HAS BEEN GOING DOWNHILL FOR A WHILE..... Staff tried to do what they could but only so much you can do other than put lipstick on a pig.
