Clean and comfortable, friendly staff. Lamphey is more of an up market hostel than a traditional hotel, with no staff on site, bar or bistro and only light continental breakfast which is fine if that's what you're looking for. A self-catering kitchen would be good for those who want more than a bowl of cereal or don't fancy a pub meal.

Marketing should make it clear how the "hotel" operates, including the offer on eating at the Lydstep Tavern a short drive away, that we only discovered after booking somewhere else.

The room was clean but no heating on and we were cold

Advertising a restaurant which wasn't there. False advertising!! Told we could drive 10 minutes to the sister hotel but after 6 hours on the road already it was not an option. Room was cold. No heating on. After phone call was offered a gas heater but we were concerned about carbon monoxide

Continental breakfast was ideal as was a "help yourselves"

We booked this property for a Thursday night after seeing it advertised as a hotel with reception staff, a bar, a restaurant, and all the facilities you would expect. The reviews and listing made it sound like a proper hotel stay. What we actually arrived to was nothing like that. The building was completely unstaffed, no reception, no bar, no restaurant, no one around at all. The only way in was through a key box, turning what was supposed to be a hotel into more of a hostel-style setup. Several other people outside were also shocked, trying to figure out why the bar and restaurant weren’t open after being misled by the same listing. After travelling a long way to stay here, we were left with no choice but to find somewhere else at short notice. The property simply wasn’t what was being sold to us, and we felt unsafe, as the front door could easily have been left open and the property would have been accessible to anyone. Having no staff presence or security in the building puts guests at risk, and it’s wrong for Booking.com to allow this type of misrepresentation. We contacted someone by phone (N), who admitted the situation and agreed to issue a refund. That refund has not been received, and now the property is refusing to take responsibility and has pushed the matter away. This was a deeply disappointing and misleading experience. Guests deserve honesty and safety, not to be sold on facilities that don’t exist. I hope future travellers read this before booking, because this is not a hotel.

De zeer goede ontvangst van de eigenaar ik was er twee jaar geleden ook al eens geweest. De ligging is ideaal voor church door rock, the green bridges of Wales, Marloes beach en nog vele andere locatie's van de Pembroke area

Zeer goed restaurant in het hotel maar was nu wel een paar dagen gesloten tijdens mijn verblijf , maar de eigenaar heeft wel goed opgelost, Is het hotel wel een upgrade aan het geven
