Nice hotel. Pretty expensive I was a little disappointed in all the other towels. They were very worn as they washed 20-30 times. No OJ at restaurant!! Arghh

"Excellence with a Spot"

I decided to treat myself this time, and what a treat it was. The Daxton is very, very nice. The layout of their entryway and ground floor is very open and inviting. As you walk in, the bar/lounge is to the left. Further back along the same line is their restaurant. I do appreciate their nod to security. You need a room key to access any floor above the ground floor. Each floor has its own pantry. The pantry is a small room where you can get snacks and nonalcoholic drinks, like sodas and water. All this is included in your rate. The room is very cool. The bathroom is off a small hallway. Inside the bathroom, there is a water closet that separates the toilet from the sink and shower. They provided me with lots of towels at least five complete sets. The room's ceiling has crown molding. There are plenty of outlets. My bed had plenty of pillows, too. My count was 8 full sized pillows. Inside the closet are two cotton terrycloth robes and a pair of slippers. It was a great stay!! My "spots" require improved operational attention. I am confused why a member of the Valet team was spending so much time at the front desk/check in, check out area. I said "hello" to a member of the housekeeping team. They looked at me like I was crazy. Once management addresses these two items, I have no doubt that this establishment will be a perennial five-star gem and a shining jewel in the Hilton crown.

Great location

Service… We had a drink in the lobby, the waiter left us to observe Ramadan but no one covered his table. After an hour & us looking for him someone finally got him & we received a bill. But we received no real service. Doormen didn’t open the doors, just stood there. I’ve stayed here many times & can say the service has gone down.
