Rye Motor Inn - Oceanfront, Walk to Beach

I love the location right across from the coast one of my favorite places on the NH coast. King room was very nice large felt very homey, I hate being cramped. I travel with a service dog and there is plenty of area for him to go out, also a huge plus for me. Next time I will book direct but other than that we had a great stay, lots of family showed up, One piece of advice bring some coffee, Do yourself a favor and make sure you catch the sunrise, either at Pulpit Rock or stroll down Wallis Sands Beach, fyi, dogs are welcome to run the beach in the early mornings (before 9am if I am correct). If you are lucky enough to see it at the far end of Wallis Sands beach where the marsh drains into the sea there is an old shipwreck buried in the sand, it is most often covered but if you catch it right at some low tides the sea has exposed the old hull. We have always called this ship the Old Scow, that name was given to it by my Great Grandpa who lived there, my mum use to climb on the wreck when she was a kid.

My only real gripe is that coffee was not provided , but a quick run to Market Basket and all is good, and grab a strawberry rhubarb pie while you are there.

You had to pay for coffee, but we just drove to Portsmouth and picked up what we needed.

It was just ok. Room was clean and so was the pool, but everything seemed to have price tag on it

Good stay, rooms were a little warm and the AC could not keep up with humidity. Extremely clean, very well equipped
