Park Lane Aparthotel by Urban Space

Location was good for the price especially during a concert being on the room served its purpose cool little set up that could be an amazing little spot if it had ac. Cool little touches with things like the wash up set etc. Staff did come and try to sort the cupboard tbf

Theres cupboards above bed when i opened one the door fell off and hit me in the shoulder. The window handle was barely hanging on and with the heat in the room it was hard to open properly cleanliness in the bathroom under the sink was a bit dirty but overall room was clean and tidy. I know we are in a heatwave but the room was boiling as no ac a fan was provided but was a waste of time really. You would literally be sweating just walking in the room. The window literally lets no air through as theres a grill for security outside

I didn't like the TV it's not comfortable to watch from the sofa and the sensor in the hall the lights kept going of even when you move in the bedroom at night and it was very annoying no TV in the bedroom either thought there sould be

Great place to stay,, spotlessly clean , close to all amenities, would definitely stay again

Had everything you need, nice and comfy and bottles of water and ice lolly’s left because of the heatwave so can’t ask for much more

Loved the location, near to town & the park where we saw a concert. 20 mins walk to station or pick up a taxi. Ice lollies/ water in fridge nice touch as we stayed during incredibly hot days.

Disliked · Nowhere on the listing stated that windows couldn't be opened. Thankfully a fan was provided or we would have left for sure. It's an office block of small rooms with a bathroom & kitchenette. I've worked in kitchens and can handle heat but this was off the scale. If you had any medical conditions, a stay here could be uncomfortable. Spoke to another lady leaving the building, she also had no windows that would open. Quite shocking really, especially for the cost of our 2 night stay. Shame as location is perfect but I wouldn't return.

We appreciate the hotel couldn't predict the extreme heatwave, but the way our concerns were handled was extremely disappointing. Our room was unbearably hot from the moment we arrived and the fan provided made no difference. The heat became so severe it triggered my asthma and we had to stay out until 2am because the room was uninhabitable. We repeatedly asked for help, extra towels and a better cooling solution but were continually told no staff were on site or promised things that never happened. A replacement cooling unit was eventually fitted after hours of waiting, but it was poorly installed and leaked water across the floor. We had to use our only two towels to mop it up, leaving us with no towels at all. Despite requesting more towels four times, none arrived before we left. We spent much of our stay waiting for promised assistance instead of enjoying our break. Sadly, the hotel's response ruined our stay.
