Mariner motor hotel

Room in poor repair. Some electrical outlets either shorting out or not working. Room dingy. Plastic used as insulation around the lower part of the window. Chair in room had holes. When brought to management's attention, told that it wasn't the Holiday Inn as we only paid $150.00 a night. So what did we expect? No help whatsoever. Never, never again.

The price the convenience to downtown the friendly staff. The place could use some work outside for more appel. I felt safe but the two key system would have been easier if the two keys looked different in someway and it was difficult to open the outside door very heavy to open.

Nasty carpet, very grimy. Stains on sheets. Horrible AC extremely loud, and if you term it off it gets so humid and musty because the windows don’t open, impossible to sleep. You suffer from a loud AC or unbreathable conditions. You can smell that dog’s and cats sleep on the beds. It’s supposed to be pay upon arrival but they charged our credit card before we got there, taking away our option to use our business debit card. The only good thing was the shower and sink, our toilet clogged twice. The service was pretty good. Good location.

You can get to downtown Collingwood in a matter of minutes, although Collingwood is a small town anyway.

Poor value for money. Nearly $200 a night for staying at an outdated hotel that does not even provide breakfast. In addition, I found the older gentleman at the reception to have poor customer service skills. My idea of hospitality is not defined as being berated by someone with a bad attitude.

The property and hotel is tired and dated but was clean and no complaints

It was a basic featured motel. No service person at the counter. No food options offered.
