AC Hotel by Marriott Santa Rosa Sonoma Wine Country

It’s close to downtown and the room we were staying at was way bigger than we anticipated which we loved

The AC unit was loud and made some clunky noise which kept us up a couple times in the night. It sounded like construction was going on. Also one of our towels in the shower wasn’t fully cleaned and had hair stuck in it.

Nice looking modern room with wood floors. Very comfy bed. Nice soft lighting throughout the room. Not much bleed through from the other rooms. A little noise from outside but not bad. Located right downtown with ample restaurant choices. Nice looking bar/lounge/resturant area. Great stay overall.

The LG TV was very laggy, especially trying to call up one of the Apps. Also a lack of choices where the apps were concerned (No Max or Apple TV+). A small annoyance. Parking is either valet or city parking. I've gotten multiple tickets forgetting to add more time. But there is an app you can control the meter with, which is nice.

LOVE THE FRONT DESK AND CAFE/BAR STAFF AS MUCH AS THE LOCATION AND CLEAN MODERN ROOM…maybe even more. I’m titanium elite and yet have been staying at the Hyatt regency for years for a more cushy work trip expensive that I’d get at the Courtyard in the area. AC is pretty new hotel and note I’m choosing it instead. Neighborhood is fantastic and the women at the front desk are exceptional. ALL OF THEM. They only want to make your stay better in any way they can. The general manager rings a tight team. The amazing gentleman who keeps the latter night crowd happy at the bar has good stories to tell and engages everyone in good conversation prompted by good questions. If the lights were dimmed and the vibe was less bright airport than groovy lounge, it would be a nice alternative to just heading up to your room. There’s no pool and no hot tub but the gym is pretty good. You may need to be an engineer to figure out how a few of the machines operate but it’s a good size and equipment is new. The location is the number one draw until you get the smiles and accommodations of the women who welcome you and check you in. My brain has lost their names as this was my first start but I’m back in 12 days!
